Electrical Panel Upgrade

Electrical panel upgrades are often necessary if you plan to install an L2 charger for your EV and have an electrical panel of less than 200 amps. Upgrading your home’s electrical panel will help your home run more efficiently and increase the safety and efficacy of your electrical systems.

Installing an additional 200 amps of electrical service for a charger provides additional benefits:

  • Increased energy efficiency and potential energy cost savings.

  • Reduced risks of electrical fires or malfunction of an old panel.

  • Added capacity for electric devices and appliances or room additions.

  • Enhanced property value when selling your home. â€‹

House Rewiring

Rewiring a house is primarily done to improve safety by replacing outdated electrical wiring that could pose fire hazards with modern, up-to-code wiring, ensuring it can handle the power demands of current appliances, and ultimately increasing the value of the property by addressing potential electrical issues and improving functionality.

Key reasons to rewire a house:

  • Improved efficiency: Updated wiring can provide better power distribution, reducing electrical glitches and improving appliance performance.

  • Higher home value: A rewired house is considered more attractive to potential buyers as it meets current safety standards and is less likely to have electrical issues.

  • Peace of mind: Knowing your electrical system is up-to-date and safe can provide significant peace of mind.

  • Safety: Old wiring can deteriorate over time, leading to potential risks like electrical shocks, sparks, and fires, which are significantly reduced with new wiring.

  • Increased capacity: Modern homes use more appliances, so older wiring might not be able to handle the increased power demand, causing circuit breakers to trip frequently.
